This is my child's school project for Valentine's day. It is called a Crayon Melting Art. Here is a how to do this:
Materials:
- 1/8 illustration board
- candle
- candle holder
- old crayons
- pencil
- plastic cover
Procedure:
1. Draw your desired outlined design in the illustration board.
2. Secure your candle in the candle holder and lit the candle.
3. Peel the cover of the crayons you will use.
4. Melt the tip of the crayon on the lower side of the candle flame (blue flame) for 2-3 seconds. Color your drawing by pressing the melting tip of the crayon to your drawing. **the yellow flame will burn
the crayons quickly turning it to black.
6. Do this until the whole illustration board is full and covered with the melted crayon.
7. Cover the your Crayon Melting Art with a plastic cover.
Safety Reminders:
- Make sure to use a candle holder
- Blow the candle everytime you leave your working area.
